Below is a list of questions and responses that we commonly receive at the funeral home. We will continue to include any new questions in this section that we feel would be helpful to others.

Question #1Does your funeral home offer cremation services?
Answer:Yes.  Brown's Funeral Home offers a wide variety of cremation options ranging from Direct Cremation to a complete Traditional Funeral Service with cremation to take place after the service.

Question #2Can we still have viewing even if we chose cremation for our loved one?
Answer:Yes.  By embalming the body, we are allowed to have viewing before the cremation process takes place.

Question #3Do you offer "Funeral Packages"?
Answer:No.  We have an itemized pricelist that allows families to choose the goods and services that they want.  Often "Funeral Packages" are more expensive than a customized service because you might have to choose a package that contains items you might not want for the funeral.  We are more than happy to assist and inform you of the numerous options available to help you avoid unnecessary additional expenses.  

Question #4Who should I call to pre-arrange a funeral.
Answer:Any of the employees at Brown's Funeral Home will be more than happy to assist you in pre-planning a funeral.  We are more than willing to meet with you and your family either in our funeral home or in the comfort of your own home.  

Question #5Do you have both male and female employees?
Answer:Yes.  We understand the importance of having both male and female employees.  If this is an issue, please don't hesitate to let us know and we will make sure you are being helped by a funeral director who meets your preferences.

Question #6Can we buy a grave marker at your funeral home?
Answer:Yes.  We have an on-site monument company, Artistry In Stone Memorials.  Their staff will be more than happy to help you choose a type of granite or bronze marker as well as help in customizing the stone to reflect your loved one's life.  Their presitgious work has won numerous awards throughout their industry.  For a free quote and/or proof design, please call 360.834.9740.
