Obituary of Sarah R. Loron

Long time resident of Washougal, Ruth was born to Raymond and Fay Flanagan, Aug 12, 1919, in Portland, Oregon. She went to join her Lord on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. She attended school in Washougal and married Donald Schmeltzer in 1942. Two children were born to that marriage. Don was killed in an accident in 1949. She then married Carl Loron in 1956. Carl, a widower, had three children. Two additional children were born to the blended family. She is survived by their children, Wayne Loron of Kent, Carol Loron Gabriel and Joseph Schmeltzer of Vancouver, Sarah Loron of Seattle, Tom Loron of Washougal, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husbands, and two children, Carrie Schmeltzer Martin of Mead, and Howard Loron of Vancouver. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
