Frederick William Paulson Jr. of Washougal passed away on November 4, 2015. He was 94 years old. Fred was born on October 15, 1921 in Peekskill, New York to his parents Frederick and Alice Paulson. Fred served in the U.S Army in WWII, and came home to work as a mill wright, and retired from Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill. A 71 year Washougal resident, Fred was Past Master of North Bank Lodge #182 F&A.M, Affifi Temple of the Shrine as well as a member of Washougal Grange and Valley of Vancouver Scottish Rite Bodies. Survivors include his two sons, Bill and Norm (wife Lisa) Paulson, his daughter Janice (husband Mark) Stewart, 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and his brother, Charles. Fred was preceded in death by his wife Emma, his daughter Karen, his brother Bob and two sisters, Marion and Lillian. A celebration of Fred’s life will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Brown’s Funeral Home at 11 AM, with a graveside service to follow at Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
